larrynho Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Hi all, Has any1 properly configured GEMRB on a Galaxy S4 ? Im trying to run Planetscape, using the widescreen mod in the PC first both at x1080 y1920 and x1920 y1080 ( s4 native resolution ? )... also tried 640x480, 800x600... and then changing the config.cfg in the device to match the mod resolution. I get a non centered non full screen; tampering with the resolutions on the config.cfg changes the screen size but I cant set it properly. Any advice about it ? I know it is possible to do, I had Baldurs Gate configured properly some time ago, but I can't remember how I did it. I can struggle with the controls, but can't really get over a misconfigured screen resolution
larrynho Posted April 13, 2015 Author Posted April 13, 2015 BTW: Im using the lastest build from sourceforge. Do I need to upload any log or anything?
lynx Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 no, you'll just have to play with it. But it's a bit pointless with pst ...
larrynho Posted April 13, 2015 Author Posted April 13, 2015 I guess ill keep on trying then. Why is it a bit pointless? I really crave for it on my phone.
larrynho Posted April 13, 2015 Author Posted April 13, 2015 http://imgur.com/gRW93qQ This is what happens, on every resolution I try, both from config.cfg and on the pc with the widescreen mod.
Jarno Mikkola Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Erhm, the Widescreen mod needs to be installed before the PST GUI mod. As that's a broken Graphical User Interface that causes that. At least seems to me.
larrynho Posted April 14, 2015 Author Posted April 14, 2015 I did Install first the Widescreen mod, after I installed the GhostDog PST UI. The duplicate sides I think that are result of a faulty screen resolution; Ive tried uninstalling the ui and just leave the widescreen mod, and the result is the same.
lynx Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 ... because pst is buggy and you can't complete it in gemrb yet. Historically nobody cared enough and the trend continues.
larrynho Posted April 14, 2015 Author Posted April 14, 2015 OH! Had no idea ;( Ill stop struggling then. Thanks for the info !
