Teemursu Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Hey, I haven't installed the game in Program Files or anything like that. I have previously installed it to the same directory, and I was able to install the mod, but because of different problems, I tried reinstalling the game and now I get this: [D:\Games\Planescape Torment\setup-widescreen.exe] WeiDU version 23700 Please run this program in your Infinity Engine game directory. FATAL ERROR: Failure ("Not a game directory") Press ENTER to exit. E: I'm running a GOG version.
Jarno Mikkola Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 When you reinstalled the game, did you uninstall it first and then remove the game folder before you reinstalled it ? Cause you have to do that. And you also have to run the game ones to allow it to make it's configuration file to appear into the game folder. Tea-walrus. He heeheheh. Niinpä niin.
Teemursu Posted April 26, 2015 Author Posted April 26, 2015 ^^I did both things indeed (I did try to install the mod before running the game, but I ended up running it afterwards anyway).
Jarno Mikkola Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 And I take that didn't solve it ? If so, open up the Torment.ini -file in the game folder with Notepad and copy paste the content to a post.

Jarno Mikkola Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 So are the "Dialog.tlk" and "torment.exe" files in the D:\Games\Planescape Torment\ -directory ? Also it would be good that you open the setup-widescreen.debug -file with Notepad and copy paste the text to a post... cause this is harder to debug without it.
Teemursu Posted April 26, 2015 Author Posted April 26, 2015 Yup, both files are in there. Weirdly enough there's no .debug file for that (the text in the OP is all I get when trying to install the mod).
Jarno Mikkola Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 What Operation System version does your computer have ?
Jarno Mikkola Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Not one man... tried to even sabotage my own PST game and still didn't couldn't reproduce... had to fix it first too. You do have set your antivirus off and so forth ? And what kind do you have ? If you have one.
Teemursu Posted April 29, 2015 Author Posted April 29, 2015 Well, after the third reinstall I got the mod installed, says it's successful etc, but the mod doesn't work. Game simply launches normally. Should I make another thread for this?

Should I make another thread for this?Hmm, does the "normal" mean that it has black borders around the user interface* in the normal view, or something else ? Aka does it look like this: Yes, that's a different game and interface, but the difference is still recognizable. I would appreciate a picture. And this thread is about your game, so if I were you, I wouldn't make a new thread.
Teemursu Posted April 29, 2015 Author Posted April 29, 2015 Nah, I mean the resolution itself hasn't changed at all, it's as is the mod didn't have any effect. E: Btw, this was the problem that I had before the one I posted about in the first place.
Teemursu Posted April 30, 2015 Author Posted April 30, 2015 Also, I have Comodo Internet Security Premium, but disabled it for the time I installed the game and both the widescreen and the UI mod.
