Widescreen 3.07 Problem Baldur's Gate [solved]

Hello Guys !

 

I've got a problem when I want to install widescreen 3.07 mod on my BG install (Baldur's Gate + ToSC), french version, 2 CD (Atari collector Edition).

 

I've got an error which tells to gave you the setup-widescreen.debug.

 

So there it is !

Vous devez installer le patch le plus recent (qui sera Trials of the Luremaster si vous etes sur Heart of Winter) et vous assurer que vous n'etes pas en train d'installer le patch pour la seconde fois (ce qui inclut la tentative d'installation sur EasyTutu ou un cas d'installation clone s'il est deja installe sur votre installation principale).

You probably need to use the international TotSC directx updates fixed bgamin2.exe, aka BGTalesDX8Intl.exe, you can get the file from the mirror here for example, the file is just autoexcecutive archive file that contains only the compatible bgmain2.exe in it, and nothing else, extract that to the game folder and rerun the setup-widescreen.exe again and install as before. This info can be read from the readme, if my dillusion is correct.

Don't be, I hadn't found it there either a few times before this, when it was asked... cause then I was the one asking. :D Which is why I am so happy to help.
