I was pretty sure I.B. was coding it - my bad, that's mostly because he was the one posting updates on the forum, haha :)

Also, what about the lvl1 NPC mod? I've seen it finally updated to EE compatibility.

I like custom parties, but I prefer to give the intended roles to NPCs rather than using a multiplayer party, since it does make things more lively.

K4thos, I probably don't know all the facts, but is it possible that Vanatos just missed your post both at Blind Monkey and/or Blind Monkey forum? Have you contacted him the other way? Maybe he is not opposed to offer/get help, but just don't know about EET at all?

Final BG1EE fight bug : Sarevok unkillable

Yet another old bug ? well, this time I don't think so.

Reminder : I play with SCS, so, I need to kill the 4 mates before being able to kill Sarevok.
In, the old bug, you just had to CLUA 1 (or 2) of the missing mates, kill the 4 mates, and then kill Sarevok.

Here, everything goes as it should until the very end :
- first time I hit Sarevok, He says he is invincible thanks to his 4 mates : "Oh, my foolish <PRO_BROTHERSISTER>... You have no power to harm me. Do you think I chose to confront you in this place through some sense of theater?"
- as soon as I kill, one mate, he says I understood but it remains 3 mates : "A predictable ploy, <PRO_BROTHERSISTER>. And impressive, as well, but ultimately futile. I have three others..."
- as soon as I have killed all 4 mates, he says "Does it end here, then, <PRO_BROTHERSISTER>? You have taken my acolytes, taken my shield from harm. Am I not to become a god?"

But after that, I should be able to kill him ! I am not :)
I think one "Action" is missing in the last dialog : there is only "SetGlobal("DMWWSarevokFight","GLOBAL",4)"

 

But I've checked, only SAREVOK_.bcs is using this var :

I have added this at the beggining of SAREVOK_.BCS file and it works :

Another workaround is CLUAing SCRL9W (Energy Drain) and casting it on him when he is low HP.

What do you mean by "is still present in the current BWS"? If there isn't BWFixpack patch for this problem then it will happen. Also editing .BCS is not the same as "fixing" mod source files so I can't really do anything about it.

Just what's said in the tin... aka if you install SCS with BWS, there needs to be a script that runs that will remove the item... for example:

At a top of a script... you don't need to edit the base SCS for that, that's for DavidW to do if he ever comes back just like all the other fixes you keep up to the mod, well perhaps Demivrgvs needs those too.. as he needs to keep the SR SCS updated.

Anyways, just have the BWS add the script that adds the short code if it's not there already.

I cannot create any kind of custom patches for BWS because there is already a well know place for community fixes: BWFixpack - all mod fixes should endup there. If someone tell me where I need to put those lines (stratagems\sarevok\resource\sarevok.d | sarevok.ssl ?) i can create patch for BWFixpack.

one more question, about SCS? It's compatible as revised version only, right? Does it mean I _HAVE_ to use spell revisions, which I'd rather not use (I prefer the rules to be as close to vanilla as possible, only the AI to be better and bugs.exploits fixed?)

1. Download original SCS, extract it

2. Download K4thos patch extract and overwrite into original SCS from point 1

3. Download https://github.com/BiGWorldProject/BiG-World-Fixpack/archive/master.zip, extract it into BG2EE game directory (beware of unnecessary BiG-World-Fixpack-master folder), move SCS installation into BG2EE game directory(and all mods which you want to install), run "Big World Fixpack"

4. Install EET.
