The main reason the files in this thread aren't on GitHub is because kreso hadn't worked out all the kinks yet.

 

There's a warning in the first post that if you're not playing on EE, some spells might cause the game to crash.

 

If you go ahead and install this on a non-EE game, you're accepting that risk and offering to act as a tester to report any such errors.

 

 

Beta 14, the latest official release, shouldn't have those problems. It can be found in the pinned thread titled SR v4 Open Beta (last update 25 December 2016).

Bug Report: the leopards summoned by Animal Summoning IV have an inappropriate sentence taken out of the dialog file as name & tooltip.

You might want to specify this a little better, which platform, game ... version and so forth.

Some things from IR and SR were not really intended to be played on BG1 - a few creatures and abilities and such don't specify a new string (e.g. that Leopard) because it assumes BG2 as a base, where the referenced string is already correct.

I was actually directing that comment towards you. The Greater Malison one is especially tricky (and probably won't ever be fixed), because strings of those type need to able to be suppressed by certain immunities, and by creating a brand new string, you make it so it can no longer be suppressed (at least, not easily). My suggestion? Play EET. :p

Ah. Well, you got me there. Creature and ability names are at least pretty easy to fix.

The dialog taunts are as easy to fix... the problem is that one needs to do it to every creature and that takes work, A LOTS of it, and you know that and are likely not willing to submit t o i t. No body else does it either... :p

With the beta 14, my game crash actually on Nevariah (in the cimetery for edwin's quest).

He use a sequencer with terror of dragon, stone skin...and the third spell don't appear, the game freeze and crash.

 

I have nothing into log file to determine which spell cause that.
