I installed the bg1 npc project (which went real smooth without any problems at all) and proceeded by installing the music pack. It seemed to go fine until this problem occured:

Hang on, Ice will need to take a look at it. To make his job easier, could you list what mods have installed and in which order. Thank you  ;)

After the installation of BG + Totsc and BG2 + ToB I installed bg1tutuv4 and tutufixv7 (in that order) and then the bg1npc mod and finally... the music pack.

That's strange... I went on ahead and installed a couple of other mods (Mur'Neth and Sirine's Call to be precise) and then I tried installing the music pack... and it worked just fine this time.

It is one of those "WeiDU loved me not, but it changed its mind" things I guess... But I am glad it worked. Please, if you do not mind, let us know how Music Pack functions - there were some majour rebuilding done for that one ;)

Hmm... I had almost forgotten about my npc music problem. It might be some days off but I intend to tell you how it works anyway!

So, well... the music itself is really great and satisfying but there are still some in-game problems that might have to get worked on, I believe. As I recall these are three little problems.

The first one (and probably the most annoying one) regards the issue of npc banters not pausing. Tutu tweaks had this "force all dialouges to pause" mod which could seem promising with a problem like this, but... unfortunately it didn't work out that well (I also tried re-installing all my mods so I don't think that's there the problem is)

The second problem makes the npc banter "themes" blend in with bar songs and the like...

The third and last problem I see as the most serious problem. Sometimes... when you have a great deed or you enter a new area, some of the npcs might have things to say, but... if you are quick enough and move them around they seem to change their minds and get a I-want-to-talk-with-you circle blinking under their feet... which actually caused some minor lag in the game.

Other than that, though... it's all good and I must admit that the tunes are quite fitting for their personalities.

Sorry for dragging up old stuff, but I've been away.

What Cam said.
The second problem makes the npc banter "themes" blend in with bar songs and the like..
The entire point of this version was to stop that happening if it's not working then... it's not working. Argh!

Not sure about this, has anybody had this when the music wasn't installed? It might be a looping script issue with the music pack, equally it could be a problem with BG1NPC or even the engine.
