Sword and Fist v10 Now Available

Another anniversary release, Sword and Fist adds new options for those using warrior classes: Fighters, Monks and perhaps eventually Barbarians. This mod is designed to work with BG2 (with or without the expansion pack Throne of Bhaal), the Tutu or BGT conversion projects, or the Enhanced Editions of Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate II, and Icewind Dale and the EET conversion. Version 8 makes the mod compatible with the Enhanced Editions of the game and contains numerous bugfixes.

• Fixed bug where monks were actually receiving AC penalties instead of bonuses as they leveled up

v8 Changelog:

• Added EE compatibility
• Fixed bug where the Fist of Order's THAC0 bonuses were not appearing on the character record
• Clarified the monk description; specifically that Flurry of Blows is a once-per-day ability, not at-will
• Added warning for Duskblade when used in conjunction with max HP roll mods on original games
• Monks were receiving an extra Empty Body ability at level 15, instead of the intended 19
• All ability tables extended to level 50 for better use with XP cap removers

Found a bug: monk AC bonus from nmmonk01 is -1 and should be positive 1. (Darn those 2ed rules, confusing even mod authors!)

 

Edit: Or am I wrong and this mod makes a low-level monk's AC even worse?

No, it was definitely wrong. It's fixed in v10.
