Does that mean an enemy needs two DMs to dispell your protections, one for the globe, and the other one to have a full hit? Quote Link to comment

No: the BG1 globe is simply dispelled as any other spell would be dispelled. Quote Link to comment

But setting it so that it blocks one wave of DM would make it too strong? Or would it destroy the nature, the intended behavior, of the (M)GoI? As is, with BG2 rules, do you see any viable use for (M)GoI? Quote Link to comment

Lianos
The "Spellcasting HLAs as Innates" component seems to be disfunctional. I have not yet been able to find the cause. Could someone please do a crosscheck on this? I forced SCS to install the according component and it works. (Normally it is skipped when SR is present) Quote Link to comment

(Normally it is skipped when SR is present) Good lord, how am I such an incompetent boob sometimes? ACTION_IF spellcasting_hlas=0 BEGIN [code that turns HLAs back into spells] So right now, if you have spellcasting_hlas set to 0 (which is the default value!), it turns them into spells. In other words, if you install the current version of the mod, you're going to get spellbook HLAs. ...I'm just gonna go ahead and release x.700 right now, since they're obviously supposed to be innates by default, and that's too major of a bug. V1.3.700 released, maintenance release. Fixes: There was a major bug as a result of the spellbook HLA setting.ini option, where the options were swapped (the default value of 0 was installing spellbook HLAs, the value of 1 which was supposed to do that was instead keeping them as innates). Scroll of Animate Warrior was usable by illusionists and wasn't by diviners. Fixed an issue with BG1-EE games where familiars were displaying the wrong name. Cleared some double usability text with some priest scrolls for EE games. Added some projectile patching for some SR/R projectiles for Protection from Missiles, Physical Mirror, and IRR items to make sure stuff like Flame Arrow and Iron Bow of Gesen is properly blocked. Delryn Family Shield's Protection from Missile is properly updated by SRR. Larloch's Energy Drain had a harmless minor bug where the graphical effect that's supposed to play was set so that it can be resisted when the rest of the spell cannot - now it can't be resisted. But it is not possible to kill trolls with that damage. Quote Link to comment

Do you have a mod that changes how trolls work? Edited October 27, 2021 by Bartimaeus Quote Link to comment
Lianos
SCS? It's strange. The fire damage is in the log, but only once. All other sources of fire damage gives additional damage. Other spells work fine. I installed the HLA to Innates component of SCS afterwards, so perhaps there is a hiccup because of this. Quote Link to comment

Lianos
Yes. Good call. If you cannot reproduce the problem, I will run some tests to see if it's a SCS problem. Quote Link to comment
