Lol thanks. I am describing exactly what you suspected -- the result of another mod. Scanning my WeiDU log I see that it is a component of Stratagems. I'll have to reinstall that component. I think I mentioned this to you on the BD forum but I'm new to modding BG2.  I'm learning the hard way the dangers of installing/uninstalling/reinstalling mods willy nilly midway thru a game lol but I'm definitely learning a lot/having fun.SR has been amazing, thanks to all who have worked on it!

Well, innate abilities can be located under the spells button, and that can be very useful.

It's now how I would/did do innate sequencers, but it makes some sense because this way you don't have the "create sequencer" spell and the created sequencer itself sitting next to each other in the innates bar. Plus it distinguishes the SCS implementation from mine, which means more different options for players, which is good.

I'm not sure where to put this text. This contains bugs I have noticed. I have installed Tweaks Anthology, Spell revisions, SCS and NPC Project to BGEE.

1. Magical Stone (priest level 1): The spell does not end, when you hurl the last stone. Which means that if you cast another magical stone, it can end very fast. It ends when the first spell ends (after 2 turns).

2. I can summon 3 skeletons with Animate Dead priest spell if the level of my cleric/mage is 6. It should be 2, at least by the text of the spell.

3. Polymorph Self: If I put a weapon to the off-hand, the cleric/mage does not get the corresponsive penalties to the THAC0. He had one point in a two weapon style, which should mean +2/+6 to the THAC0. The another question is, should it be possible to do so?

4. I did not install the component that gives scrolls a level of the caster. Now the level of the scroll is 9 or even more. I can cast 5 magic missiles, 5 flame arrows and so on. They are too powerful to my low level characters.

5. The name of the animals (snakes and leopards) summoned by the cloakwood druids are wrong (very long gibberish from somewhere else). This might be the result of combined installation of SCS and Spell revisions.

6. This might be a SCS problem. The AC of the spider form of the avenger kit is 0. It should be 2.

7. All shapeshifts cancels armors, but they do not cancel the additional bonuses or penalties against specific damage types (e.g. crushing). This might be a problem of the original spell and maybe not a bug at all.

Interesting.  This should be fixable in EE games, not sure in the old engine.

Do you have any other mods?  Anything affecting your caster level?

I don't understand... is this in some particular monster form?  All of them?  Don't they have magical weapons that prevent dual-wielding? 

Is SR different from the vanilla game here?

This is vanilla game behavior, I think all scrolls are cast at level 10.   If you are playing the EE game(s) I highly recommend this mod:

This has been addressed already... somewhere.  SR was built for BG2, and BGT/Tutu use the BG2 dialog.tlk as its base, so it works there, but BGEE uses the old BG1 dialog.tlk as its base, so the strings don't all work.  We have caught a bunch of these, and have to fix more on a case-by-case basis as people find and report them.

Not sure about this one.  May just be the way the engine works...?

Humm big problem, In my current game, it looks like spell deflection spells do not protect from breach.

What Merlin said sounds right. I don't think magically summoned weapons prevent you from using your dual-wielded weapon - I have distinct memories of casting Spiritual Hammer with a Ranger-Cleric and being surprised to learn that the off-handed weapon was still being used (and that it was using the range of the main-hand weapon, so so my off-hand weapon suddenly grew 10 feet!).

@DrAzTiK Similar but not the same. You could use both at the same time, I imagine.

As for the Spell Deflection issue...can't confirm - clean install with only SRR installed, have Edwin cast Spell Deflection, have another character cast Breach at him, get "Spell Ineffective". Would guess SCS based on your weidu.log, but that's just a guess.

No, quite different, actually.  It does not appear that the Tweaks component affects the caster level of scrolls at all.  You can cast Magic Missile from a scroll at 1st level and it will fire 5 missiles; you can cast Acid Arrow at 1st level and the acid damage will repeat as many times as if cast by a 10th-level mage.  You cannot cast Flame Arrow from a scroll until 3rd level; but at that point it will be cast as if by a 10th-level mage.

Astrobryguy's mod sets the caster level for the scroll to 6 for those three spell levels, regardless of when you can cast them.  And regardless of your current level.  So using a Magic Missile scroll at 1st level will fire 3 missiles, and using it at 20th level will still only fire 3 missiles.  I'm fairly sure you can combine these two mods, and in fact to my eyes using both seems like a good idea.

I think Tweaks has a different component which sets the caster level of scrolls to your caster level, which means the effect will scale - which I guess is what Merlin is looking for.  The problem here is that some classes do not have caster levels, so a thief casting Magic Missile from a scroll will only ever fire 1 dinky little missile.

As for magically-created weapons: so I guess it's a vanilla issue.  I think the EE games at least have item flags that might apply here, I recall seeing something like "forbid off-hand" in NI.  Might be worth looking into.

Yes, seems the EEs added that. I tried out the "left-handed" and "off-handed" flags for fun, and while the off-handed flag does seem to suppress the off-handed weapon for Spiritual Hammer, it didn't for my polymorphed character for whatever reason, and additionally, when Spiritual Hammer wore off, this happened:

Otilukes resilient sphere: Doesn't give a save for friendlies: Awesome.

However it still interacts will spell turning/deflection/trap spells such that when cast on a friendly it reduces the spell defence count and the character is unaffected.

Expected: Bypasses spell protections, like say other helpful spells.

Ps: Is there a quick fix I can do myself for this using near infinity? Appreciate any directions - also, thanks for the great mod!

I just checked both SR and SRR's shammr.itm (and shammr1-4.itms) - none of them are set to 30, all set to 20.

humm yes me too. But in game, the range is 30 feet. Maybe it is hardcoded or something like that.
