I check the hp on the dragons by CTRL+Q after using the Fine-Tune Difficult setting.

For example Saladrex: Gorsal.cre has 244 hp as in vanilla bg2.

I have a question / bug report regarding the "More realistic wolves and wild dogs" component.

When being waylaid by either of them, the animals just stay in their place around the party and do not go aggressive at all. Should they not just attack in this particular situation, as they are the ones who have waylaid us? Right now you can just walk past them and leave the area without any fight.

That's an unintended interaction, yes; I'll look at how to resolve it.

I can't reproduce this locally. Tested on Saladrex (gorsal) and Thax'yllissia (shadra01) - both get their hit points tripled if the main difficulty bar is set to HARDCORE or INSANE, or if the fine-tuning control is used to set dragons' difficulty to HARDCORE or INSANE.

… I'm at a bit of a loss here. People who are encountering the bug: are you waiting a couple of seconds before CTRL-Qing the dragon? The hit point adjustment happens by script and needs a second or so to work.

EDIT: ah, wait a minute. The hitpoint-boosting effect erroneously has a shortish duration. Probably it's wearing off in combat. Will fix.

I got a silly question that came in my mind when you actually said that the dragons have tripled HP only when choosing a difficulty higher than tactical. Doesn't that mean that nowadays installing all the components become 'obsolete', when playing with difficulty under hardcore?

I’m here as a professional philosopher to reassure you that no, ‘dragons only get tripled hp on a difficulty higher than tactical’ does not logically entail ‘no component has any effect except on a difficulty higher than tactical’.

Some possible bugs observed in v32 r10:

The new ability "Prepare spell sequencer" doesn't have any effect in my game. I attach a save (EE) in case it helps.

The AI of my summoned planetar casts Heal on my protagonist automatically even though he's protected by spell deflection, which means Heal is wasted.

❤️

By the way, more than 'no component has any effect except on a difficulty higher than tactical',  I was more tempted to say, why don't you add another option for the people that only play at X difficulty so you don't install everything if it doesn't get used? It was more of a "perfectionism" issue, then a "but this component won't work with a difficulty under X"

I was being flippant, of course!

But in seriousness, I’m not quite sure what  you mean. Every SCS component does something at every difficulty level. The increase to dragon hp is only a small part of the dragon component, after all.

Good, thanks.

Questions:

1) will the component STRATAGEMS/SETUP-STRATAGEMS.TP2~ 0 1510 // Include divine spells from Icewind Dale: Enhanced Editionv32 RC9
add cure moderate wounds or cure medium wounds to temple?

2) I am using a mod called wild mage additions. It seems that when installed together with SCS, he always casts the correct spells, instead of casting a forth spell that thanks to a deliberate (failed - because the author intended so) surge makes Rhialto turn into a squirrel. Would you kindly check if SCS is the real culprit here? Or maybe it's the author of wild mage additions that has to do some change? I changelogged Rhialto and that's what I got:

00001:  ~STRATAGEMS/SETUP-STRATAGEMS.TP2~ 0 5900 // Initialise AI components (required for all tactical and AI components)v32 RC9
