My first recommendation would be to use the zoom feature on your monitor.  I have a 1440p monitor and view most websites at 150% zoom.

 

And I have a 100000 x 50000 phone and I see all the things without a zoom... please refrain from comparing other sites that offer simplified view tabs for other devices coded in, in comparison to a person that talks about their 4k monitor. It's definitely not the same. As you can, for example, zoom the text in Mozilla Firefox with ctrl + mouse scroll... but it won't move the margins, or edit the pictures to make them bigger.

This wysiwyg-only interface it really, really difficult to work with.  I can't figure out how to un-mangle this post.  Given the choice of a pure BBCode interface and a wysiwyg-only interface, I'd happily take the former, even without helper buttons of any sort.

it show me this: https://prnt.sc/m3nsk3 notice that site says that I'm no longer logged user but when I hit browser "Back" button, I'm logged user.

Attachments should now be fixed.

I'm afraid there is no BBCode editor.

Regarding your post, I can see that it got mangled, and things are a little wonky when you go to edit it.  I was able to unmangle it by copying and pasting the relevant pieces to reassemble the post, then replacing the mangled version with that, but I didn't save my changes.

One thing I've noticed when working with block elements like quote boxes is an occasional difficulty to insert information between them when they are right after one another, or to insert information before one that's at the start of the post or after one that's at the end of a post.  To work around that, you can insert a paragraph somewhere else and then drag the little Move symbol on the top-left of a block element to reposition it.

Is there any way to recover old links? I know that content has been preserved, but if for example https://www.gibberlings3.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=2819&page=1 leads into nowhere, can I adapt the link to the new page setup to find the equivalent?

Yes, you can manually convert links for the time being.

If I type a user name and add the "@" afterwards, it isn't converted to a tagg, like this: @jastey. Is there a way to make this happen? (Because I'm lazy).

Also, there is a lot of external scripts/graphics etc. imbedded: fonts.googleapis.com, secure.gravatar.com, fonts.gstatic.com, i.imgur.com, content.invisioncic.com, twemoji.maxcdn.com, www.shsforums.net (the last one sounds especially dubious ), are we sure we need all of those and they do not grab info they are not supposed to pass on?

And a question: how do I make it that it jumps to the last unread post if I click onto a thread title, e.g. from the "Latest Posts" list? EDIT: Ah, found it myself, I need to click on the "dot" next to the thread title.

Here's the irritating bit: if you start typing an @ symbol, a list of users will pop up. You have to click on the name in the list, otherwise it'll just render it as text. It won't automatically convert @jastey to a mention, I have to select your name when I start typing it, like so: @jastey.

Well, can't you just say @jarno mikkola, and be done with it ? Yes, it's a different... but ... How about... <picture> + link and so on.
