Awake
This thread has brought tears to my eyes. I'm ashamed of the people that thought they could do this. Link to comment
neriana
I don't see how anything is "ruined". The old cartoons aren't somehow destroyed by this really dumb idea that's going to only be around for a short while. Someone's career will be ruined, of course. Link to comment

Userunfriendly
In our memories the Road Runner goes beep beep. But they want to toss you into the trash heap. Road Runner, sit down and watch old reruns all day. Before those idiot bean counters change his ways. Road Runner, Warner Bro's is after you! Road Runner, that great old look is just plain through! Road Runner, Warner Bro's is after you! Road Runner, that great old look is just plain through! Warner Brothers are staffed by clowns, When will they learn the true fans won't take this lying down? Poor little Road Runner won't be recognized by anyone, He's going to lose everything that made him fun! Link to comment
BigRob
More amusing than the new WB stuff. Remembering the theme music helps too. Link to comment
Rastor
Am I the only one for whom that attachment doesn't work? Firefox won't display it because it contains errors and IE6.01 just gives a box with an X in it. Link to comment

The original cartoons are still played all the time. I wasn't alive when they were made. Neither were my parents for most of them, actually. I certainly always knew which cartoons were which. This is an entirely new series, kids are not stupid, and besides, no one remembers dumb cartoons that run for one season. And frankly, if anyone is that stupid and ignorant, that's their own problem. I don't worry about Americans who can't name what century the U.S. Civil War took place in, either. I used to, but it's a waste of energy. Link to comment
