BigRob
Am I the only one for whom that attachment doesn't work? Firefox won't display it because it contains errors and IE6.01 just gives a box with an X in it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It works fine for me on IE6.01. Link to comment
Fallen_Demon
I don't see how anything is "ruined". The old cartoons aren't somehow destroyed by this really dumb idea that's going to only be around for a short while. Someone's career will be ruined, of course. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There will be kids in the next generation who may think of these as the origional characters <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I really seriously doubt that. The original cartoons are still played all the time. I wasn't alive when they were made. Neither were my parents for most of them, actually. I certainly always knew which cartoons were which. This is an entirely new series, kids are not stupid, and besides, no one remembers dumb cartoons that run for one season. And frankly, if anyone is that stupid and ignorant, that's their own problem. I don't worry about Americans who can't name what century the U.S. Civil War took place in, either. I used to, but it's a waste of energy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Your probably right, the few kids who will think so will be damned annoying though. And there's the poor guy who gets his nuts ruined by Grim. Userunfriendly
all we can hope for is that the ratings on this obscenety is so low, that wb will pull it from air within one season... Link to comment
neriana
And there's the poor guy who gets his nuts ruined by Grim. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think the person who originated the idea was actually a woman. At least that's what I gathered from the articles, though considering how terrible the idea is, it was probably thought up by committee. Link to comment
Bri
Doesn't really matter who came up with the idea since it had to go through several corporate layers of approval...making them all guilty in my eyes. Link to comment

Bri
Well, after watching it for the past two or three weeks, I can see my worry was unwarranted. Oh, they kept a main feature of the characters (The Analogues are basically the same: Taz is still a big, dumb brute who spins, Roadrunner runs very fast, Coyote is a genius, Daffy Duck is an egotistical coward, Bugs Bunny is a wisecracking know-it-all, Lola is the...token female). But there is nothing fresh about it. The writing is hackneyed, and the jokes feel forced. I think they would have been better served to create something new that didn't feel...forced. Link to comment
