Command/selection/Banter dialog repeating/not varied bug?

I just loaded up v.31, excited to finally play BG:EE. Right of the bat I notice the banter/responses when you select a character and tell them to go places seems drastically unvaried compared to the default vanilla install. I don't know how many dialog options are set for each character but its consistently choosing the same one over and over, with a second or third dialog every 4-6 clicks...makes it a little maddening when this will be the rest of the game. I have my dialog banter set to 'seldom' for both command and selection options... Any ideas? any way to fix this? Is it fixed in v.32?

It is extremely unlikely that this has anything to do with SCS.

  I guess I will have to deal.  I'll go back to vanilla and see if its just my imagination.
