Ascension 2.0.7 out; report bugs here

I've updated Ascension to 2.0.7. Change-log:

  • Fixed a nasty bug with 2.0.6 that was breaking dialogs all along the critical path
  • Balthazar no longer stutters during the fight with Irenicus
  • Fixed some vanilla bugs in Irenicus's scripting: primarily, his Project Image and Simulacrum now work properly
  • You no longer re-acquire the basic Slayer Power, and lose your original Bhaalspawn powers, on reload
  • Melissan's defenses are properly reduced if Gromnir is killed
  • Cosmetic improvements to the cutscene where the Five appear: all now appear visibly in the cutscene
  • Cosmetic improvements to the cutscene when Melissan is defeated: any stray demons are removed so they don't clutter up the finale

The issue persists:

Playing on BGIIEE 2.5. Still in Shadows of Amn before going to Spellhold. When travelling to Watchers Keep the first time I get "Regains Bhaal Powers". Charname gets an additional set of heals, DUHMs and slow poison (according to reputation) as well as charges for slayer transformation. When transforming to slayer the charge numbers for slayer transformation go bananas. Like not counted down but instead from 2 to 8 to 23 or things like that.

According to my WeiDU.log there is no other component installed that messes with the bhaalspawn powers. Other mods I installed (at least partially) after Ascension are atweaks (V 4.53), Stratagems (SCS 32.2) and cdtweaks (Anthology V 9). But as said, apart from Ascension no other component regarding the bhaalspawn powers:

I made a complete reinstall like above but using SCS 32.3 and Ascension 2.0.7. I then loaded a save from before travelling to Watchers Keep the first time and travelled there. Exact same behaviour.

Went to Watcher's Keep while in Chapter 2 of the Shadows of Amn campaign and for some reason I got the message about Bhaalspawn Powers being restored. Now I have two sets of the same abilities in the Special Abilities tab.

I have installed this component witch is very welcoming. I don't know if it is intended or not but when transforming into the slayer , I gain extra Hp but ii also make my character to be full healed even if he was badely injured before transforming himself into the slayer.

Game crashes during the Yaga-Shura fight while having Ascension 2 and SCS installed. It crashes the moment Yaga-Shura returns with his lieutenants. The lieutenant.cre files were the cause for the crash. It gave me something the lines of there being a problem CGameEffects at line number 7657. Tried spawning those lieutenants elsewhere to make sure it was them and not something else, and the moment I'd spawn them via console commands, the game would instantly crash. After deleting those .cre files, they didn't crash the game anymore and the Yaga-Shura fight went normally.

Balthazar also seems to crash when using Ascension 2, Wheels of Prophecy and SCS. The moment he'd take enough damage, say around Injured and lower, the game would crash. Did the same thing with the BALTH.cre file and after it was deleted, everything worked again.

Oh, forgot to mention that the Balthazar crashes didn't give any error messages. The game would just crash instantly and that was it.

In the final battle with Amelyssan, Balthazar crashes the game again. Even after deleting every balth file in the overrides folder, he still does it when he's near death. I just don't understand what's going on and how to fix it.

I just finished ascension and didn't find critical bugs. Very good job and many good surprises :  new positioning  of some enemies, new maps etc..

some bugs I had in my game :

1-  WHen entering in Sendai final room, Diaytha and Mithykyl are positioning near to Sendai. Sendai speak to Diatha a bit before the fight. I had to Ctrl-y Diaytha and Mithykyl.

2- In the area outside sendai enclave, the darkelf "woodcutter" near the house turn hostile after I  have killed monsters at the south west of the map. He is not supposed to turn hostile.

3- In the same area, the fight at south west (near caravans)should be different : As soon the hive mother appears, I think animals are supposed to turn themself into darkelf. (squirrel, elk and deer) 

4- bodhi in the first challenge of the pocker planet do not have any attack script. (improved bodhi is not installed on my game)

5- I need to make more test but some dragons seems to have a low thac0
