Userunfriendly Posted February 2, 2004 Share Posted February 2, 2004 me know nothing about the forgotten wars, i don't read the books, i just play the game... but i have picked stuff up over the years of playing the game, and i am aware that bards are suppose to be able to cast spells like a sorceror, no need to memorize spells, they get them at level up, and i was thinking, wouldn't this be a great component to install??? i mean i bet a lot of people would love a modified sorceror with pickpocket capabilities, offensive spin, and bard song... i don't know if its possible, i don't know how much is hard coded, but if possible, this would make a great mod... i mean one of the most often heard requests is for dual classing sorcerors... i bet people would absolutely settle for a bard with sorceror like spell casting... what do you guys think??? Bri Posted February 2, 2004 Share Posted February 2, 2004 Actually in 2nd Edition Bards do have to memorize spells just like wizards. That said, there are a few kits where their magic is more instinctive, but in general, the bards have to learn it like a mage. The idea with them is that they pick it up here and there.
