lefreut Posted September 17, 2022 Author Share Posted September 17, 2022 I re-released to fix the version number. Quote Link to comment
subtledoctor Posted November 2, 2022 Share Posted November 2, 2022 I'm just now realizing that v4.0 is out and I installed some components form v3.8. But the change log doesn't show these components as having changed so maybe it's still relevant. I installed: ~EET/EET.TP2~ #0 #0 // EET core (resource importation): 1.0 RC12 SD1 for mobile 2.5 ~EEUITWEAKS/EEUITWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #1080 // Portrait Selectors -> lefreut's Portrait Picker: 3.8.1 ~EEUITWEAKS/EEUITWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #1070 // Faydark's Abilities Auto-Roller/GrimLefourbe's BG2 UI: 3.8.1 ~EEUITWEAKS/EEUITWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #2070 // Dee's Permanent Thieving Button: 3.8.1 ~EEUITWEAKS/EEUITWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #2120 // CLUAConsole for mobile: 3.8.1 ~EEUITWEAKS/EEUITWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #2900 // lefreut's Improved Record Screen: 3.8.1 ~EEUITWEAKS/EEUITWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #3024 // Journal Fixes and Tweaks -> lefreut's Journal (quests collapsed by default): 3.8.1 ~EEUITWEAKS/EEUITWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #3030 // lefreut's Customize All Characters: 3.8.1 ~EEUITWEAKS/EEUITWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #3051 // lefreut's Improved Inventory Screen -> Without Item Comparison: 3.8.1 And I am getting a consistent and immediate crash to desktop when GUWBTP10.mos is in my override directory. That file is installed by Dee's Permanent Thieving Button. Quote Link to comment
lefreut Posted November 2, 2022 Author Share Posted November 2, 2022 I assume this is on mobile? I don't have a crash on windows. You could try to check which pvrz file is referenced by GUWBTP10.mos and if the file exist. Quote Link to comment
subtledoctor Posted November 3, 2022 Share Posted November 3, 2022 I did not move things to mobile until after running TextureConvert on the .pvrz files. So maybe the thieving button can’t cope with the textureconverted .pvrz file? At that point I was getting crashes on both mobile and desktop versions of the game. Quote Link to comment
lefreut Posted November 3, 2022 Author Share Posted November 3, 2022 (edited) TextureConvert may produce a pvrz file that the game don't like but I don't understand why it happens only for the one used by GUWBTP10. I tried installing TextureConvert but I still don't reproduce the crash Can you attach GUWBTP10.mos and its pvrz file that crash for you? Edited November 3, 2022 by lefreut Quote Link to comment
GibberBob42 Posted December 27, 2022 Share Posted December 27, 2022 This is really great work! Thanks much for the compilation. I have an issue in PST. In dialogue box, I cannot resize the dialogue background art at the bottom of the screen. It has yellow lines but I cannot click them. Quote Link to comment
lefreut Posted December 27, 2022 Author Share Posted December 27, 2022 The in-game UI edit mode is very limited. It does not handle the two layers used by the PST dialog box. Anyway, if you want to touch the UI, most of the time you better do that by directly editing the UI.menu file. Quote Link to comment

Is there any way to figure out the IDs of the two unselectable parts of dialogue box in PSTEE? I am trying to make the gray dialogue box background as big as the whole screen. lefreut Posted December 27, 2022 Author Share Posted December 27, 2022 It's the menu BACKGROUND_DIALOG. Quote Link to comment

lefreut Posted January 7, 2023 Author Share Posted January 7, 2023 v4.0.3 released with a new component 'Clickable dialog box' that let you advance through dialog by clicking on the dialog box. It should be compatible with any EE games / UI mods. https://github.com/r-e-d/EEUITweaks/releases/tag/v4.0.3 @Roberciiik Quote Link to comment
Roberciiik Posted January 7, 2023 Share Posted January 7, 2023 Tested and it works fantastic! Thanks! One suggestion is to extend the clickable area to the text area. It works that way in the vanilla engine, and clicking over text would prevent you from clicking any response options (because they are under the NPC text). Hope it is doable. Thanks, one more time. lefreut Posted January 7, 2023 Author Share Posted January 7, 2023 You want the clickable area to be only the text area or both the text and the one currently used by the mod? Quote Link to comment
Roberciiik Posted January 7, 2023 Share Posted January 7, 2023 Just checked how it worked on classic engine: only text area is clickable with margin of one empty line. I think it would be the best to restore such behavior. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
lefreut Posted January 7, 2023 Author Share Posted January 7, 2023 It's easy to make the text area clickable, but not with a margin of one empty line. Quote Link to comment
