I installed BGIIEE with Ascension mod and other mods with no issues but in the game I saw a huge glitch, so I decided to better reinstall it. I renamed BGIIEE folder, installed a fresh copy of the game and copied all mods files to the new folder. When coming to install a Ascension mod, I've got a bug with not found resources like you. I had to do (again) a clean install of BGIIEE, download (again) latest version of Ascension an then install it - this finally worked. Quote Link to comment

Meaning that one of the mods intended to add a file that doesn't exist. Aka it didn't copy it while it "should have". This is a moding technic that can be used to overcome problems ... but it itself will create more if the design of other mods don't like it. Traditionally the Ascension was installed far before yours, so that can be the impedance you run into. PS, next time, put the debug file into a .zip archive, it's 10 times smaller. See if the mod has no requirements, it might be because it's meant to be at the top of the install order, not at the bottom. Quote Link to comment

Ascension 2.0 uses features of the more recent versions; update to 2.5 and try again. - cdheld.eff is added by the Fixpack, which you have installed, and it is quite hard to see how another mod could have removed it. Is it possible you're using an out-of-date version of Fixpack? (If some mod is removing that file, it's likely to break quite a lot of things, not just Ascension installation.) Quote Link to comment
