ghuke Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 (edited) I'm having a problem installing the Smarter Mages and Smarter Priests components. When I install the components, the component options menu don't appear and the default option (# 6030) is automatically installed. I wanted to install "# 6032: Smarter Mages -> Mages never cast short-duration spells instantly at start of combat", however the menu never appears and I'm unable to select the option. The same happens with the Smarter Priests component. Am I doing something wrong? A few more details about my setup: - I've installed SCS in my Mac with BGEE + SOD. I had to first install DLCMERGER to be able to install SCS. - I'm using Mac_Weidu_Launcher_v7.app to launch the stratagems installer. - This is what the WeiDU.log looks like: // Log of Currently Installed WeiDU Mods // The top of the file is the 'oldest' mod // ~TP2_File~ #language_number #component_number // [Subcomponent Name -> ] Component Name [ : Version] ~DLCMERGER/SETUP-DLCMERGER.TP2~ #0 #3 // Merge DLC into game -> All available DLCs: 1.2 ~STRATAGEMS/SETUP-STRATAGEMS.TP2~ #0 #5900 // Initialise AI components (required for all tactical and AI components): v32.7 ~STRATAGEMS/SETUP-STRATAGEMS.TP2~ #0 #6000 // Smarter general AI: v32.7 ~STRATAGEMS/SETUP-STRATAGEMS.TP2~ #0 #6010 // Better calls for help: v32.7 // Recently Uninstalled: ~STRATAGEMS/SETUP-STRATAGEMS.TP2~ #0 #6030 // Smarter Mages: v32.7 // Recently Uninstalled: ~STRATAGEMS/SETUP-STRATAGEMS.TP2~ #0 #6040 // Smarter Priests: v32.7 This is what I see when installing (options menu doesn't appear): Install Component [Smarter Mages]? [I]nstall, or [N]ot Install or [Q]uit? Edited January 6, 2020 by ghuke Quote
subtledoctor Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 I think with SCS v32 those are no longer separate install options, instead they are folded into the new difficulty slider. I think? I haven't played with SCS v32 yet but from reading the forum, that's the impression I get. Quote
ghuke Posted January 6, 2020 Author Posted January 6, 2020 You're right. Thanks! I'll try moving the slider to Tactical ("Enemies use the most sophisticated AI ... spellcasters cast a small number of protective spells"), it seems the nearest to what I was trying to achieve. Quote
