Hicuty
Can you tell me how can i change spell animations using Near Infinity? I want to change spell shield animation but can't find where the animation settings are. Quote Link to comment
Jarno Mikkola
This is likely because the game has several cathegories of animations. There's casting animation. There's ranged effect animations. And lasting/running animations. In spellshield, what you probably want to effect is the lasting animation that the character is effected to show there's a shield in effect. That is in the .spl file, specifically spwi519.spl, the spell has 10 spell abilities(0-9), each of which has the effect 2 and 3 which add a pulse and lightning effects. Make changes to those two in every spell ability and you will see the effect in a new game. The spell abilities are usually used to scan the users caster level and lenghten the effect time by the needed amount said in the spell description, which is why there's 10 of them.
