What happens to Imoen if you don't dual class her?

I've just finished BG1 content with her at level 10 and did not dual class her. Will she be as she should when starting BG2 content, or will she be some sort of mongoloid dual classed from a level 10 thief?

And she is at the party at the end of the content ? If so, you should get her back as a level 10 thief. Aka, the mage training is a lie. You will then need to dual class her on your own, if you want to. And yes, the BG2EE plot doesn't chance, so she get's transfered to the thing even without being a wizard, as if she was one. But if you do it as you intend you can get here back as a level 10 thief even then. Well, she will likely get a xp bonus after she rejoins the party, but her class and level will stay until you deside to level her up.
