temnix
Are you a painter, a draughtsman, by any chance? No? Great. I need someone with really crude, clumsy hands, like growing out of his ass, and preferably cross-eyed, no sense of distance at all. If you tend to slip and produce a wild line half across the image, and it can't be undone so you kind of tuck it away, that's even better. Ideally you would be able to imitate all this with panache and style, but really being no good at drawing shapes is the shortcut of modernity. What I'm doing here is replacing map markers. You know, for the automap. The Shadows of Amn interface, the one the Enhanced Edition of BG and BG2 uses too, slaps these boring rhombus cookies for map notes. IWD:EE might use them too, I don't know. I want to replace them with something that looks like it was drawn on the map, looks hand-drawn, because it will be hand-drawn. For authenticity nothing less will do that the glorious waresoft, the primordial king of drawing solutions, back when it rained cats and dogs - Microsoft Paint. And I don't even have a stylus, no sirree. I just drag my resisting laser mouse over this overly glossy magazine and make a tortured arrow, or maybe it will be a circle, or a square, or something. Here is my fucking replacement for the green marker, next to some eroded gray rhombozoms. For the next marker, let's say, red, I might like to doodle a different arrow or whatever. Could be bent. Could be from another direction. It's a map marker. The problem is, with no stylus the process really takes too long. It's gonna take weeks. So I'm looking for someone who can make a bunch of pics with a black background and over them demented squiggles, indicators, question signs, sic!s and N.B.s. Size doesn't matter, I think. This arrow is something like 60x50, but you go big, Banksy-big. Quote Link to comment
