SCS AI components installation problem

Hi guys,

I'm trying to install SCS v33.7 on steam version of Baldurs Gate 2 EE (I also tried the BG2EE GOG v2.5 with the same results). I'm using Win10 64bit, during installation UAC, antivirus and firewalls are disabled, Steam is in offline mode. Game folder is outside Program Files. Problem description:

• While starting installation with setup-stratagems.exe, command window falls into infinite loop asking repeatebly to install first of the components picked from AI enhancements category or improved npc management. Other, unrelated components install correctly (new spells, etc.).
• Using Project Infinity mod manager also generates errors for the same components. Below you can find fragment of log file reffering to component 5900 (general AI enhancements)

Windows 10... install the game to your user profile files in Windows, aka here;

C:\Users\<user name>\Games\ ... aka, not just outside the Programs Files folder, but in the only folders you have a re-write permissions. That is, if you use the C drive. That being the Windows Operatrion System drive. So it gets the no rewrite permission protection, cause it want to put you in to the sandbox, for tiny little babies, to play in the sand, but have no effect to the system.

Unfortunately reinstalling the game to <user name> directory didn't solve the problem.
