Recommended Posts

[C:\Users\Scholar\Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition\bg1npc-v25\setup-bg1npc.exe] WeiDU version 24600

Please run this program in your Infinity Engine game directory.

FATAL ERROR: Failure("Not a game directory")

Press ENTER to exit.

This is what happens when I try to install any mod

I think that you have not extracted mods in the root folder of bgee but in separate folder.

Try to extract every mods in bgee root folder : you should have all setup-mod.exe files directly there.

Aka, in this directory; C:\Users\Scholar\Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition\

Rather than this: C:\Users\Scholar\Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition\bg1npc-v25\

... yeah.

Why would you move the Zakrion_BG1-v1.0.zip -file into "the game" folder, you need to extract it ... but not into your documents sub folders, as that's not the folder the game is installed into, it's the folder that computer makes to put your stuff into. Saves etc. See, it doesn't contain the Baldur.exe,  chitin.key, engine.lua, nor EULA.txt -files, that are the haulmarks of the games install folder.

Go back into the desktop view, right click the games starter quick icon file, and find the install folder in it's properties. It's the folder the games .exe is located in. And go there. And extract the archive into it. And now it installs.

It's where you installed the game to. For example C:\Program Files\Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition\

or G:\Program Files\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition\

Do you know where you installed the game to?
