Global creatures can still be accessed from script to e.g. bring them back with MoveGlobalObject(). (Usage example here) Knowing this may come in handy since DestroySelf() is now used in BGEE 2.6.5.0 by non-Imoen party members scripts, triggered if Die() while not in party and in a random area.
