Guest HollowForest
Hey guys, I'm running Baldur's Gate enhanced edition on a MacBook Air with Big Sur 11.5.2. and I've got to say, I'm having a real big problem locating the appropriate 'directory' for the exraction of the BG Mini quests & Encounters. I've tried dragging and dropping said files into either the directory within the BG Icon (right-click, show package contents, navigate to folder space w/ .lua file present) as well as the hidden files located in /Users/user_name/Library/Containers/Baldursgateenhancededition/data/. In case that wasn't far enough, I also tried /Users/user_name/Library/Containers/Baldursgateenhancededition/data/documents/Baldursgateenhancededition/ where, again the .lua file is located. yet, none of these seem to be valid directory locations for the .exe to setup installation. Am I going about this the wrong way? Any help would be much appreciated. Quote Link to comment
jastey
I have no idea about MacBook, but the setup-modname.command/exe expects to be inside the game folder that contains the CHITIN.KEY file. Quote Link to comment
Guest HollowForest
I am SO glad I reached out and asked. As soon as I extracted the contents to the folder with the chitin.key, everything ran smoothly from there. Thank you so much for your reply! Quote Link to comment
