Pausing Scripts During Timestop

This seems like it could be a good way of fixing the issue whereby ReallyForceSpell/ApplySpell fires off during Time Stops. Will it cause any problems?

 

(And what'd be the easiest way to implement it?)

Set a global in the timestop spell (and unset it when the duration expires), and append to the top of every script:

IF

TimeStopGlobalSet =1

THEN

NoAction

END

 

Or something.

Perhaps.

That'd probably work well, yeh.

 

Except. Every other mod out there would need updating.

Not if we set lock Cam in a room with weidu and instructions to write tp2 code to read the script from every cre and append a fragment to it.

But then the fixpack has to be installed last, and that's bad.

 

Also, there's an EXTEND_TOP_REGEXP, I think.

That's what I was thinking too, but it won't apply to scripts from mods installed *after* the fixpack.

 

EDIT: Sim was faster.
