Zakrion for BG2: Bug Reports and Problems

Hey,

noticed two things after reading the announcement.

1. It's not clear whether the kit from S&F is included or if the mod must be installed first.

2. The attribution section of the readme is all sorts of off. Almost all of the projects/tools listed have teams behind them and Sourceforge is not one of them (just a host like G3).

1. The kit from S&F is included. I wanted to explicitly give credit and call out that it was from S&F.
2. Thanks for letting me know. Some of the credits I grabbed from other readmes and others I looked up on a wiki a while ago, so it is possible that those tools are no longer maintained by the same people or have more people maintaining them. It looks like for most of the tools, I credited the original creator? Regardless, I'd be more than happy to rectify it.

Audacity is as old as bg2, Gimp is from the mid nineties and both have been team projects almost from the start. It's easiest to fix by just not mentioning people, since besides DLTCEP and maybe SK, all the rest have multiple authors.

Hello ! First off, i want to say i'm really happy to be playing this mod, and with its content. I just wanted to point out a bug :

when I got to Brynnlaw and talked to Roe, Zakrion suddenly reacted to Desharik being dead. He was not, I hadn't even met him yet. I think it's because the variable checks for the death of "deshar", but "deshar" is the code for a man working with Samia in Firkraag's dungeon, not Desharik. Desharik is "PPDESH".

Thank you again for the mod !

Hello and thank you for the kind words! :)

Oh! You're definitely right about that. Thank you for reporting this to me. I'll be sure to fix that in the next update.

So, I'm not sure if I actually have a bug on my hands, but Zakrion's thieving skills seem out of whack. I'm not sure whether that's by design or a weird happenstance because he was level-drained during the Unseeing Eye quest. I used a temple's greater restoration and received a level-up afterwards. After doing the level-up, I get the feeling his thieving skills did not get restored, because they are very low.

When I open my save in EE Keeper, his thieving stats show as:

Move Silently 0	15
Hide in shadows 0	10
Open Locks 50	70
Pick Pockets 0	20
Find Traps 25	30
Set Traps 0	0
Detect Illusions	0	0
190/265

When I create another swashbuckler with the same number of experience points and level them up, I get:

Move Silently 25	45
Hide in shadows 75	90
Open Locks 75	100
Pick Pockets 0	25
Find Traps 90	100
Set Traps 0	5
Detect Illusions	0	0
0/265

(I didn't notice he has 17 dex, and my created swashbuckler has 18 dex, but I don't think that affects the number of thieving points. Seems consistent with the total being /265 in both cases)

Does he have lower thieving points by design? Or is that a bug with the level drain/restore?

Hrm, I haven't experienced this while testing Zakrion. By default, he uses the Duelist class in the Sword and Fist mod. For his alternative class Swashbuckler, I don't believe I made any changes to his thieving skills. I am quite sure I left them as is, but I will need to double-check this.
