Revised ability scores and point buy system - recommended fixed points value?

Do you have a recommendation for the fixed points allocation if using the Revised Ability Scores and Point-Buy System for Choosing Ability Scores components?

I appreciate that player preferences will differ widely, but is there an option which you consider to be more balanced?

Honestly, not really. I guess if you want a number, I’d probably go for 75 or 80 in IWD and a little higher for CHARNAME in BG. But I’m not confident of that.

Thanks, that sounds reasonable. I've enjoyed the fixed points component a lot, as I think it makes character creation more interesting when re-rolling isn't an option.
