Sir Ajantis NPC for BG2 on GitHub

Recommended Posts

Well met!

I am requesting that the "Sir Ajantis NPC for BG2" mod be included in the G3 or GitJas GitHub repositories. I am working on a project wherein I document IE mods and I am including links to official sources. For purposes of resilience, I have preferred using official GitHub links where possible.

There may be other G3 mods not yet included on the official G3 GitHub repository which might prompt similar future requests; however, if such requests are unwelcome, please let me know and I will refrain.

Is a mod's omission from the GitHub site deliberate, still on the to-do list, an oversight, or some combination? If this is a sensitive subject, feel free to disregard.

Thanks for so many wonderful mods!

Cheers!

It's on the ToDo list. Page 6, I think. In general: requesting will not speed anything up. I'll put all my mods on GitHub when I'll come around to do it.

On a general note: please link to the G3 mod pages if you link to G3 mods. There is every info the player needs, not only a small description but also links to the forums etc so they know where to turn to when they have problems with the mod(s).

Cheers!

At this point, if a mod isn't there it's because we either don't have permission or the author hasn't done it yet.

Thanks for the additional explanation, CamDawg! Per Jastey's direction, I am now linking to a mod's G3 homepage for all mods that reside here, for the handful of mods without an official G3 homepage, I am linking to the G3 download page as a second option, followed by the mod's G3 forum introduction thread as a third option.

I am only linking to GitHub releases for mods that do not have a presence on G3, or another extant community site, as I got the sense that the community prefers traffic being directed to community sites.

Cheers!
