felix
In the readme file, it says that there should be a "setup-eefixpack.exe" file in the folder eefixpack. However, on Github, in the corresponding folder there is only a "setup-eefixpack.tp2" file, which I am unable to open. When I change it's extension to .exe, it obviously doesn't work. Can anyone help and give some clear instructions how to install this? Edited July 13 by felix Quote Link to comment
jmerry
The mod is not finished, and has not yet had the standard install package created. Which means you need some other way of running WeiDU without that dedicated installer if you want to test it out; there are options for all platforms, and I'm not familiar with the Windows side because I'm on a Mac. rigidjelly
You get the latest weidu release from its own github, copy and rename it to "setup-MODNAME", then stick it in the game folder (paired with the mod folder of the same name) and launch it. All of the exe files that come bundled with mods are just renamed weidu.exe. For (much) older mods they may even be out of date, though iirc if you have a newer version in the game folder it will auto update. The tp2 file simply contains instructions for the exe.
