szef Posted July 14 Share Posted July 14 (edited) Hi all, I have another annoying problem. I doubt anyone has a recipe for this issue ;), but it's worth a try. As I wrote on discord: It seems that by default the PSTEE engine does not want to update the new custom location in relation to the 'notes' on the map. It's as if the game is still stuck on the previous, original location in memory after MoveToArea, because the notes are displayed from the previous map. I guess only an exe hack would help here? I'd like to add that in BG2EE the markers on these same locations work correctly, which leads me to conclude that hardcoded PSTEE is to blame. Edited July 15 by szef Quote Link to comment
argent77 Posted July 15 Share Posted July 15 This issue can be fixed by providing a MOS file for the area. MOS files aren't normally required for EE games anymore since the map overview of an area is dynamically generated by the engine, but it looks like someone forgot to remove all MOS references in the PSTEE engine fork.
