Early playable builds?

Greetings all, I'm new here. I'm 33, I've been a fan of Baldur's Gate and Infinity Engine games since I was 10, in the year 2000.

I was curious:

Baldur's Gate entered production in 1995. I'm curious if there are any playable early builds of the game from 95, 96, 97? 

Similarly, if there are any early builds of BG2:SOA from 98 or 99?

There are most likely no public builds available from that time. The earliest version is probably the non-interactive BG1 demo which is already very close to the final version of the game.

Some assets from earlier builds are still hidden in the game data though, such as this gui mockup:
