WanderingScholar
When comparing the original BAM's for spell symbols to those of the EE's or Consistent spell and scroll icons (1PP) you'll notice many of them were deprived of that crisp metallic look they once had. oBG2 vs. 1PP --------> --------> --------> Would there be a way to edit these originals so that they all have this metallic look? Presumably, that's why the desire arose to redo them in the first place. The metallic BAM's only existed for a fraction of spells which made them inconsistent. I've never edited animations before in the infinity engine. Are we looking at a filter being applied here, or is it going to be a painstaking time consuming process to edit each one individually? lynx
If you just want a bit of desaturation and a few diagonal translucent white stripes applied to all of them, that could be scripted. First you'd convert the bams to let's say png, then imagemagick can be used to apply the effect before converting back. I'm not saying it would be easy, as imagemagick is also a bit arcane, but it is doable. Quote Link to comment

I'd like to know what was used to edit the images in my above example. Quote Link to comment
