Morgoth
I've seen many but they all seem so focused on drawback rather than having a functional class. They should be able to equip everything, their MR be undispellable and way stronger, their critical hit apply breach as if it was a level 40 person making it and bypassing everything, their normal hit apply a 10% failure chance even when not going through. Insane? Not as much as a berserker using enrage or an inquisitor using dispel magic (classes that are way stronger when compared to him). Edited August 29 by Morgoth Quote Link to comment
polytope
Morpheus562 (?) who took his mods elsewhere was working on one with something like that (only possible on EEs, can't do on-hit effects that bypass weapon-immunity on the original engine). I think a reasonable compromise would be allowing the WS in terms of item restrictions to wear rings/cloaks/amulets/bracers and drink normal warrior potions, but not scrolls or rods, nor use the magical special abilities of items (still get the passive benefits and combat abilities). It's a bit ridiculous how they can currently use Vhailor's helm to cast Simulacrum, an 8th circle wizard spell, but they can't wear a ring of protection because, like, that's black magic. Morgoth
Thanks a lot for pointing to Morpheus mart. For anyone curious: https://www.morpheus-mart.com/skills-and-abilities Wizard Slayer Enhancements (EEex Required): Adds Detect Illusions (Set at 100) to the Wizard Slayer. Additionally, each successful hit the Wizard Slayer inflicts on an enemy will bestow a 10% cumulative chance of spell failure on the target and has a 25% chance of casting dispel magic at level 30 on the target. These strikes will bypass protections such as Protection from Normal Weapons, Protection from Magical Weapons, Mantle, Improved Mantle, and Absolute Immunity. Sadly it doesn't fix wizard slayer at all. If you don't have a mage to remove the protections, there is no successful hit. I would say that the reason I wish to use a wizard slayer is to counter mage, not for mage to counter WS. Oh well Edited August 31 by Morgoth Quote Link to comment

Oh well Don 't think so from the description : "These strikes will bypass protections such as Protection from Normal Weapons, Protection from Magical Weapons, Mantle, Improved Mantle, and Absolute Immunity There is also Artisan's version : "WIZARD SLAYER: This warrior has been specially trained by <PRO_HISHER> sect to excel in hunting and combating spellcasters of all kinds, developing an innate power to nullify and disrupt magical energies of all kinds. Under specific situations, the Wizard Slayer may even use this power more offensively, unleashing powerful blows against non-magic users. This energy, however, has the unfortunate side-effect of negating the benefits of many magical items, rendering them useless in <PRO_HISHER> hands. Advantages: – Each successful hit made by the Wizard Slayer bestows a cumulative chance of spell failure on the target equal to their 10% + 1% per level for 15 rounds. – The Wizard Slayer’s critical hits cast Breach on the target. – Gains Magic Resistance equal to 10% + 1% per level. – 4th level: May use the Spellslayer Strike ability twice per day, gaining an additional use every two levels thereafter. SPELLSLAYER STRIKE: The Wizard Slayer expends some of their anti-magical energy to perform a charged attack, temporarily sacrificing a chosen amount of Magic Resistance to increase the hit and damage rolls of their next successful attack by the same amount. The Wizard Slayer regains their Magic Resistance after two turns have passed. – 8th level: May use the Antimagic Field ability once per day. Gains an additional use at levels 10 and 12. ANTIMAGIC FIELD: The Wizard Slayer extends their innate Magic Resistance to all nearby allies within a 15-ft. radius, granting them half of the Wizard Slayer’s base amount. This effect lasts for five rounds, and the Wizard Slayer loses their own innate Magic Resistance for the duration and may not use Spellslayer Strike while the effect is active. – 16th level: Spell Barrier: The Wizard Slayer absorbs the effects of the first spell targeted at them of any spell level. This does not prevent the effects of area effect spells and clouds that do not target the Wizard Slayer. The Spell Barrier is restored after one turn has passed. Disadvantages: – May not use any magic items that do not have a Magic Resistance component apart from weapons and armor. – Does not gain Specialization in all weapons at 16th level." Damage and other effects will still be blocked But it will bypass a vanilla PfMW and have a 25% chance of dispelling similar to a carsomyr hit The WS by Artisan is good but still a bit too limited for my taste.
