DraikenWeAre Posted September 9 Posted September 9 I recently discovered this mod from 2016 where the creator basically admitted to it having issues and they didn't have time to fix them, but said anyone else can take it up and do whatever. And it's very similar to the Gameplay tweak you included now in SCS to revise Death (which is a must for me Now) where permadeath works like tabletop requiring a Diamond (plus on my system I used NI to add -Con Penalty for the person casting the resurrection) So in comparison this mod made Party members on death drop a body that was specific to them (taking into consideration their Sex,Race,Size characteristics) and made it so that raise dead needed the party to have that persons body for the spell to be able to be cast. Which while I know not everyone would like being needed to carry a party members body to a temple to be raised in early game, those kind of people aren't exactly the type to install the revised Death component of SCS anyway. So I feel this would be more immersive and "more real" in hindsight if just like how you implemented Resurrection to need a Diamond , raise dead needs a Body in comparison. Further possible elaboration on this idea (but I'm not really Serious about) could be that a permanent Con penalty is applied to the person being brought back with raise dead, with resurrection in comparison having permanent Con penalty for the person casting resurrection. DavidW Posted September 13 Posted September 13 Elegant, but I have too long a backlog of my own work without adopting other people's! Quote
DraikenWeAre Posted September 13 Author Posted September 13 @DavidW you wouldn't have to do it immediately now, just something you could do whenever you got to it. Even if months down the road, I (and I'm sure others) would appreciate whenever you eventually had time to attend to it. Life is long, no need to rush, it's not like I knew I even wanted this before you added the revised death component in the first place, which is somthing you've only done recently now after how many years. Please don't feel pressured. Quote
