Beta 14 Playthrough findings

Going to use this thread to post any issues etc I find on this play through. 
 

• you can still add identify as a Minor New Abilitiy to a sorcerers spell book even if you already have it .
• Totemic shaman still seems to have the druid exp table even though ~DW_TALENTS/DW_TALENTS.TP2~ #0 #40610 // Druids use cleric XP and spell tables: Beta 134 is installed. I will kwwp an eye on if it is causing level up issues
   
• Not really an error but on the wiedu it reads Beta 134 not 14

• Low level Thief ability Perceptive only grants 10 pts in Detect Illusions, not 15.

• This didn't affect levelling to level 2 (both classes)

• The option for changing racial enemy on rangers is to change every 4 levels, is this all levels or ranger levels as with the Forester Of Baervan it is every 4 levels (level 2 cleric/level 2 archer)
   
• Assassins may no longer be good-aligned - they can if multi-classed (fighter Assassins)
   
• Earth Elementalist of Moradin Sometimes when you try to learn scrolls it turns from green (can write to spell book) to red. (works after a few seconds) and intelligence sometimes drops when it does it (to 3 plus any item modifiers)

• Minor abilities: Improved Turning. unable to select on Earth Elementalist of Moradin or Forester Of Baervan both have cleric level of 5 (4 in other class) is there a minimum level? Not mentioned in the game or readme
   
• With Earth Elementalist of Moradin and Forester Of Baervan, the Forester Of Baervan gets an extra cleric spell at each level relatively. Same wisdom. also has 1 more than the Totemic shaman

• Pebble to boulder doesn't do anything when cast. This is the spell that is given as an earth elementalist

Seems like it does something as it tells me i can't equip a weapon as magical weapon is in use but i can not seem to throw the pebble

• The multi classes added can't get bonus based on class. IE
  
  Forester Of Baervan is an Archer/cleric
  if an item gives plus 1 to all classes but +2 to archers it only gets plus 1>

Celestial sorcerer suddenly has  Nahal's Reckless Dweomer and , Chaos Shield. Not sure what caused it. Level 8 is when I noticed

• celestial bloodline sorcerer can learn necromancy spells on level up
   
• infravison not working on any race (wood elf Shield dwarf, half elf half orc earth gensai or aasimar) tested on the SOD troll cave where infravision allows you to light a torch

Is there a way to see which minor abilities you have on a class?

Maybe on the skills page in the character record

Some kit related bugs:

In addition to Favored Souls seeing Detect Traps/Illusions (as well as the Shaman's Dance) in the bar instead of quick spell buttons, I also just noticed that Shapeshifter's Greater Werewolf form (level 13) gets Regeneration.  However, there is no portrait icon visible for the status.  Unless this was intended.

Also.  Favored Soul Of Helm does NOT get Iron Skins as a 5th level spell, as is stated in the in-game class description.

 

@DiesIrae, in terms of the ones I have seen, the 2 "Dodge" points show up as "ability" bonuses for AC.  And when I took "Slippery Mind" for a Thief at lvl 13, there was text for it in the dialogue box after leveling up.  Others are more obvious, like extra spells, or thieving skills, of course.  But I agree, I'd like to see them in the "Abilities" page on the Record screen.

Its more, which cleric did i give improve healing too etc that would be useful

Some NPC's will recognise that you are an Aasamir in dialogue which is nice.
