Favored Soul not getting additional quick spell slots on bar

I have noticed every once in a while the bug of Favored Souls getting the Detect Traps/Illusions (as well as the Shaman's Dance, albeit greyed out) icon intermittently in those locations.  But so far it is easily resolved by clicking to inventory and back.  It makes me think these slots should be available for spells but because of the above tiles having some kind of coding calling them to the quickbar, the quick spell slots are suppressed.

The problem is that under the hood, Favored Souls are Shamans, and Shamans' quickbar has Shaman Dance and Detect Traps/Illusions on it. I tell the UI to hide the buttons (obviously not completely successfully, I'll take another look) but I can't add new ones, unfortunately.
