Funniest npcs

Hello!

I've just restarted BG1, haven't played them in a couple years, but I've finished BG1 - TOB a few times.

I am particularly interested in seeing all the funniest banter between characters. I am not interested in serious or dramatic writing for this run, I just want to laugh.

If anybody could give me recommendations for the funniest NPCs, banters, interactions, etc., I would appreciate it.

I expect to start with Imoen, Xzar, Monty, Jaheira, and Khalid, and maybe take them through Nashkel Mines, but after that I will swap npcs in and out with the goal of maximizing comedy. 

What are the funniest npc pairings? What quests, events, and locations should be experienced with specific npcs in the party?

Garrick, Eldoth and Skie are a great combo. Xan is a serious NPC but plays especially well off pranksters such as Imoen.
