Does SCS Affect the prices in the alternatives mod?

I've searched around and been unable to find an answer to this and also can't find this in the readme of either SCS or Alternatives, but does the component in SCS -increase the price asked by Gaelan Baele-  have an effect on the prices in the alternatives mod which offers alternatives to bodhi and the shadow thieves.
