Which is terrible, since it doesn't even have line numbering, but most of the time all you're doing is working with text. When I move on to the debugging stage, I'll copy into TeXShop. That's a free code editor designed for the TeX family of typesetting languages, and the basic code editor functionality like line numbers are there.
