HP weirdness on normal difficulty

A level 7 fighter with 9 constitution should have a maximum of 70 health not 80 right?

 

A level 8 swashbuckler with 16 constitition should have a max of 64 health not 70?

 

It seems as if normal difficulty is awarding an extra level of hitpoints ( without constititution bonuses ) to created characters.

 

Also I remember some other bug where in certain situations if you had used the switch-to-normal difficulty trick to get maximum health your characters would lose that health. I don't remember exactly where I encountered this so I will keep looking.
