Domi
Phase III will include a comprehensive Romance Guide that contains all sort of useful info on the 6 NPC romances. I am looking for someone who knows his or her way around HTML/PDF to create a final version of the Guide, that will preserve DOC formatting and add hyperlinks between the index and content. Please, post/PM/e-mail me. Link to comment
SimDing0
HTML might be a better choice, since it's fairly universal, supports hyperlinks and stuff, and doesn't require hideous programs. Acrobat Reader is a piece of shit, but anybody who's downloaded the mod has some kind of internet browser. Word can save to HTML, no? Link to comment
the bigg
Word can save to HTML, no? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It can save to the variant used on Internet Explorer, so on civilized browsers it won't display correctly. Link to comment
Domi
I tried, but when I save to HTM/HTML, I lose the formatting - when I open it again, it shows up as a webpage, w/o borders Link to comment
Kulyok
Mine didn't - it was a normal HTM\HTML page. Or do you mean the brown frame? Link to comment
Domi
The header (logo) and the border. Link to comment
SimDing0
Then it's time to do what REAL MEN (and, uh, women) do and write all the HTML by hand! Link to comment

Kiki
I can convert a Word doc to PDF and add hyperlinks easily--let me know if you want me to do it. Link to comment
Domi
That would be great! Thanks, Kiki. Link to comment
Kulyok
Word makes a htm file of about 90kb. (Domi, please check your mail.) It's either let go of the pictures and do it manually, or... or 90kb. Link to comment
Domi
Well, I am keeping my fingers crossed that Kiki will be able to get it working. Who knew that it's so complicated! Link to comment
lennon
Well, I am keeping my fingers crossed that Kiki will be able to get it working. Who knew that it's so complicated! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm happy to use my copy of Hot Metal Pro and Amyumi printer driver to create both HTML & PDF. (So PDF may not have active hyperlinks). If you PM me the source (in something I can read), I'll PM you a duration estimate I can do this and would like/love to help. Link to comment
