Any thieves in our midst?

Has anyone made/found a mod that offers a thief NPC for BG2 that is non-romancable? I really dislike not having a single-class thief in my party sometimes, but am not really interested in playing out another romance, and prefer NPCs over ones made in multiplayer games... anyone have a suggestion or two?

An NPC with a romance, where you choose not to play the romance, is virtually indistinguishable from an NPC without a romance.
