BevH
Drat the pointy weapon limitation! I was just thinking of Selune, my major interest here, and her weapon is the heavy mace. Ah well, back to the drawing board .... Link to comment
Andyr
It is unfortunately an engine limitation, yeah. Link to comment
SimDing0
This is old. But. You could always detect if AoE is installed, and do the favoured weapon thing then. Link to comment
Andyr
I think we discussed this, but decided not to because then it'd be like having 2 different mods in a way. Could be wrong. And I like the spell. Link to comment
Drew
Pnp Battleguards get +1 to hit and damage with one particular type of weapon, so us allowing 2 *'s is already more than they're supposed to get. They also have the same HP progression as fighters, but I'm not sure if this possible in BG2. They get an extra attack per round at levels 7 and 13, which could be done I guess. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know this is an old thread and I certainly don't want to tell you how to do this mod, but I like the idea of allowing the battlegaurd extra attacks. I'd probably forgo the extra damage granted entirely in favor of this. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, Nightmare, but I thought priests of tempus didn't get turning. If you're trying to make all the kits somewhat similar than you obviously wouldn't want to implement any of this stuff, which is understandable. Any chance of an optional component with this at least? Link to comment
