BevH
...and if I might be allowed a moment to crow... EVERYBODY WATCH THE MACY'S DAY PARADE!!!! Even though Erica won't be with the band this year, they will be part of the parade. So when you see the Golden Regiment, clap your hands or ring a cowbell. (You'll have to ask me about that sometime. ) Link to comment

neriana
She has a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've been seeing this everywhere lately. WHAT is it from? No Macy's here, it's the Detroit parade for me. I can switch on the commercials though. I'm a dislocated Michigander. Yes, I will be watching the football game, to not do so would be sacrilege. By the way, awesome turkey recipe: http://thanksgiving.allrecipes.com/AZ/Home...Michigander.asp Link to comment

WHAT is it from? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's from Saturday Night Live. I have no idea when it aired, as I only saw a clip a friend had got hold of. Basically it was a skit where the band who wrote "Don't Fear the Reaper" was recording it for the first time and there were extended arguments about how much cowbell there should be in the song. As you can guess from the quote, the producer wanted quite a lot. Link to comment
Tameon the Dragoon
Needs more cowbell! Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. Oh, and for the record, beef > turkey. Link to comment

Oh, and for the record, beef > turkey. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, that explains it, while at the same time being hugely offensive. Good thing I'm too full of various Thanksgiving items to be very politically motivated atm . Link to comment
