Possible Bug

Well, I'm not sure if this is because of divine remix, but it is most likely so. During Tiris' quest in Trademeet, with Reijek and the skin dancer, the girl Raisha requires you to cast a restoration spell on her.

 

I had Anomen memorize it and talk to her, but nothing. I had him cast lesser restoration on her, still nothing. I bought the scroll of restoration from the temple, and talked to her and she told me to cast it on her. I did, talked to her, and nothing had changed.

 

I decided to ask here since this mod changes spells, it may have made it so that she doesn't recognize the spell when cast on her.

 

Hopefully you guys can help.

That is odd, actually. I wouldn't have suspected it'd change anything, since it's the same file it is checking for.

If it is a mod bug, I'd say DR is the most likely cause of it. I'll see if I can figure it out...

 

Have you tried to see if the higher-level Restoration spell works, or also fails?

Greater Restoration? When you cast it, it only affects your party, and talking to her with it memorized doesn't do anything. Just as using the scroll of restoration or casting/talking with lesser restoration.

If you have a handy save, could you try uninstalling Divine Remix and doing the conversation, see if it's definitely us? I've looked through the code a little but not spotted the problem yet.

Alright, I'll uninstall it, test that quest and see if the speel works. I'll let you know how it goes.

 

EDIT: I uninstalled and loaded game, but the scroll still had no effect.

Btw, is a restoration scroll supposed to cast Lesser or Greater Restoration?

The one checked for in dialogue is RESTORE.ITM, which is Lesser Restoratoin. But if it's a spell being cast her script checks for CLERIC_LESSER_RESTORATION and CLERIC_RESTORATION as being allowed.

I'm not sure what the problem would be, I'm pretty sure Divine Remix is the only mod I have that would change the spells, yet it doesn't see, responsible, so I'm at a loss.

I downloaded and installed the Divine Remix Pack last night. Questions:

 

1) The 'Selune' Cleric Kit comes up as 'Sel?ne' in many description areas... is this a bug or just me?

 

2) I tried to install all of the Cleric Kits and keep the original ones, but then I loose the Oghma Cleric Kit... is this a bug or just me?

 

3) I noticed that ShadowKeeper doesn't display any of these kits... is there a fix for that?

1) It's supposed to be Selûne, but apparently some versions of BG2 don't support the û character.

 

2) The game only supports a maximum of nine kits in the selection screen, meaning if you keep the original three, you can only install six others.

 

3) Use a better program . Seriously, try NearInfinity instead.
