igi
I just checked bits 6 and 7. These are my results, which will go in the IESDP unless someone debunks them. Bit 6, Bit 7 0,0 = Affects party, enemies, neutrals 0,1 = Affects enemies 1,0 = Affects party, enemies, neutrals 1,1 = Affects party It seems silly having 00 and 10 doing the same thing though... Avenger
In other words you swapped the bits compared to my original order? I cannot confirm or deny it, my notes are 2 years old Link to comment
devSin
I would clarify that "party" and "enemy" aren't absolute (i.e., they're relative to the caster, which may be ENEMY). I'd add the facing stuff. Use the blue color or question marks to emphasize that nobody really knows, and is unlikely find out anytime soon. I trust that Avenger's findings are close enough to the game behavior. As for the original report, in BG2 at least, target is entirely determined by projectile. Detect invisibility (or cure or whatever IESDP calls it) works against neutrals, allies, and enemies if targeted correctly. Link to comment
