CamDawg Posted March 22, 2004 Posted March 22, 2004 I'm leaving for Japan on Wednesday for a week-and-a-half. I shall do my best to check in from time to time. I have no idea how often I'll be able to visit, so don't set fire to anything while I'm gone. If there's anything pending before I leave, bring it to my attention ASAP.
NiGHTMARE Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 Have fun! While we're on the subject, I'm going on some kind of training course (for the unemployed ) thingy on Monday-Thursday next week, so I probably won't be around much those days either.
Idobek Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 You don't need training to be unemployed - just a TV guide. From Trisha to Countdown its all in there.
BigRob Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 Enjoy Japan Cam! See the sights and buy insanely huge amounts of personal electronics!
CamDawg Posted March 23, 2004 Author Posted March 23, 2004 Heh. I'd like to pick up another katana, but with airport security being what it is... We're going to visit the in-laws in Tokyo and Chiba and then to Kyoto for the cherry blossoms. And whatever other trouble we can get into.
Andyr Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 I went to Ueno Park when I was in Tokyo for the cherry blossoms. It was very pretty (said in best manly voice).
NiGHTMARE Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 For a second there I thought you meant something else by "cherry blossoms"
icelus Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 Have a great trip, Cam! goes to find the matches...
Dancer Fitz Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 Enjoy yourself! And if you see this anytime soon...which part are you going to? brings out gasoline tank
CamDawg Posted March 23, 2004 Author Posted March 23, 2004 We're visiting in-laws in Tokyo and Chiba, so we'll be in that area for most of the trip. We are taking a three-day side trip to Kyoto, though.
Grim Squeaker Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 Enjoy your trip! Starts making a large pile of dry wood
Bri Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 Enjoy your trip Camdawg. Hmm...you know, if you are having trouble with sneaking katanas, just wear a long, black trenchcoat. I mean, the guys from Highlander seem to have no problem with that... *ponders* Are you Immortal?
