KIrving
Friendly fisherman perhaps! Link to comment
BigRob
Well, Bigrob, there will be a dialogue on how Del left the island. We have a why, just need the how ;-) There's plenty of trees on that island. Despite how the werewolves said they'd forgotten how to make boats, a decently large raft could make the distance to the mainland. That Norwegian historian sailed across the Pacific on a big raft, so Del and company could pobably manage. Link to comment
Bri
Well, bra, there was this killer wave, and Del, she used her claws to carve surf boards from the palm trees and the decided to hang 10...and cruised into Amn with tidal power... Link to comment
Kish
One of the villagers says they can't make a ship because the wolfweres hold the side of the island they would have to make it on. It should be easy enough for them with the wolfweres gone. Link to comment

Heck, a boat done in the ancient Egyptian style made it quite far as well (just as the Kon-Tiki was to show that Polynesians could make it all across the Pacific ocean, the Egyptian one was to show that it might have been possible for contact with Old World and New from the western hump of South American and Africa.) BigRob
And as keeper of histories for the tribe, Del surely knew about the significance of the stars for navigation, even if the majority of the art had been lost over the years. It's not hard to say "Keep her pointed at that one"  Link to comment
Bri
Well, Faerun is a big place. If nothing else, just keep heading west and they would hit something ;-) Link to comment
BigRob
Eventually. From what I understand of the geography of Toril at that point, you could sail in any direction and hit something But, Del and company might not consider ice floes an interesting place to be. Link to comment

What's wrong with an ice floe? Their claws are just like icepicks. Link to comment
